Resolved, That the House of Bishops meeting at this 81st General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Louisville, Kentucky, expresses our happy debt to the team of interpreters, Ms. Dinorah Padro, Ms. Rosa Burkard, Ms. Christina Helmerichs, Ms. Merry Chan Ng, and Mr. ChanFoo, as well as to the CART Captioner, Ms. LaDawna Strumpf, who have worked diligently, tirelessly, and cheerfully at this Convention to turn a potential Tower of Babel into a little Feast of Pentecost and so have helped to create an environment in which we have been able to speak and be understood in the native language of each.
