Nathan Brown
I am well versed in Title IV, having served for 2 successive Conventions as Assistant Secretary of the Title IV Committee and having authored a resolution and memorial proposing Title IV revision. It is imperative that justice is administered throughout the Church with a right balance of grace and accountability. In my lay vocation, I served for 7 years as a Criminal Courtroom Clerk in Washington DC where I worked on a calendar that handled the most serious felonies. In this capacity, I had extensive experience with legal procedure, maintaining impartiality, and ensuring that evidentiary procedures and processes were followed. I also have extensive experience in Church leadership, serving as VP of Province III and Vice-Chair of the GC Under 40 Caucus. My experience with the Constitutions & Canons, Title IV, and with complex secular law and procedures in my lay vocation provide me with gifts that would benefit the Disciplinary Board for Bishops if called upon to serve in this role.
