Explanation

The intent of this resolution is to ask Dioceses to talk about their relationship with their Province. It is an opportunity to share the purpose and mission of the Province with those in each Diocese who have had little connection with the Provincial structure. All too often a "blanket" statement is made about Provinces; and this resolution offers an opportunity for each Diocese to look more closely at its actions and beliefs about the Provincial part of the overall structure of The Episcopal Church.
